Audio Walk with Pandora Pop
The theatre collective Pandora Pop creates a humorous and exciting audio walk through nature and gives the forest a voice, or rather many voices: the moss, the pine, the wolf, the meadow cabbage, the roots and mycelia and many many more. Equipped with headphones, the audience is invited to explore a piece of forest in the Hoher Fläming Nature Park in south-western Brandenburg.
In 2021, the Pandora Pop theatre group realised its first audio walk through the forest, “The Woid”, in Wessobrunn, Upper Bavaria. There it went through a mixed forest with wetlands. In Brandenburg, the omnipresent pine comes to the fore, the hawkweed, which likes it particularly dry and thrives from the Caucasus to Siberia; of course, the reintegration of the wolf must not be missing. With open eyes and ears, the audio walkers confront the changing relationship between man and the forest: How much forest is there in man? How much wilderness is there in the forest? And why do humans love freedom and yet always seek order in nature?
