Georg Werner is concerned with human responsibility for a planet worth living on – and not just for humans.

In the former silo, he collects light, sounds and artefacts – past, present and for the future:

“We have a special responsibility for the ecosystem of this planet. By protecting other species, we ensure our own survival.”
Wangari Maathai (1940-2011) Kenyan environmental activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner

In the installation, vibrations – very fast and very slow, natural and man-made – are made visible and audible with devices that expand the limits of human perception. The same measuring instruments are used to document disasters such as Chernobyl, Fukushima or the war in Ukraine.
This time, the direct surroundings of the B493 are the source of the vibrations
