LOVE WORK MACHINE is an interactive, fully automated game without human performers, in which the audience plays through the future of work with AI and thus also that of the digital society. A co-production with Lajos Talamonti and the Salzburg Chamber of Labour at ARGEkultur Salzburg
Artificial intelligence – everywhere and in all areas, it is supposed to help us, take work off our hands, be our partner, redeem us. This raises a lot of questions: Help with what? Solve which problems? What can AI do that we cannot? But above all: What or who is this AI? Should we look forward to it, trust it, ignore it or fear it? – Time to get to know each other.
LOVE WORK MACHINE is an interactive, fully automated game without human performers, in which the audience plays through the future of work and thus also that of the digital society. The next level of automation is taking shape and is present live. For everyone who wants to find out how machine-like they already are or want to become.
Three workshops in June 2024 – THEATRE PLAYS, SPACE AND STAGE FOR THEATRE PLAYS, and ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE – PLAY – WORK – formed the foundation on which the artists developed the project until its originally planned premiere in November 2024 at ARGEkultur. The resulting lecture performance now forms the basis for the current further development of LOVE WORK MACHINE.
